RESPOND TO GOD'S DIRECTION

Luke 19:26 "For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him."
LUKE 19:26

What was it that this wicked servant didn't have that caused his master to take back the money he had given him? It wasn't the tangible money that he had been given. He had kept that laid up in a napkin and he still possessed it. What he was missing and what the other servant had that caused the lord to give this pound to him was faithfulness. Those who are faithful with what God has given them will be given more, and those who are wasteful will have what God has given them taken away and given to another.

Christians will one day stand before the Lord for the purpose of receiving rewards, and all our actions will be revealed, whether they were our own doings or directed by the Spirit of God. Those who were not governed by the Holy Spirit in their actions will see all their good works burned up in that day when we stand before the Lord and He tries our works. Those who acted only under the guidance of the Holy Spirit will find that their works will endure the test and they will receive a reward.

Many people choose to do good things thinking that God will be pleased. But our positive response to God's direction (faith) is what pleases God (Heb. 11:6). We were created with a purpose and every individual has a God-given plan for his life. We need to let God work in and through us and faithfully fulfill what He has called us to do.

Double for Your Trouble

God says in His Word that you will receive double for your trouble. If the devil has given you one trouble, then for that one trouble you can expect to receive a double-portion blessing! And if that trouble has caused you to experience shame, God’s promise to you is this: “Instead of your shame you shall have double honor”. God wants to give you a double-portion blessing for every trouble you go through!

And don’t think that God is behind your troubles. The devil is the real culprit. Sometimes, it could be the one you see in the mirror every morning! But the moment you respond to God in faith, He gets involved in your restoration. And He does not restore to you the same amount that you have lost. You always get more than before, if not in quantity, then in quality. You will be at a higher place than before. You will be stronger, healthier, wealthier, wiser or more at peace!

Askig God

Sometimes God doesn't bless us with want we want but first gives us what will bring Him glory, satisfying your need...God is always first and He never fails to answer prayers. When we ask accoring to His will, you will always receive the thing asked for...1John 5:14

Valuing God's Word

The Word becomes effective in your life once it become valuable to you. Value God's Word above reports of the world. If you don't know the value of something, it can be manipulated out of your hand.

Evaluate and value what God has said about you!

Grace and Faith (must be a balance)

Romans 5:2 speaks on grace and faith. God has provided grace for all men (everyone). The way to gain access to this grace is through faith (your faith). NO FAITH, NO GRACE! We have to receive God's grace through faith. Law of grace and the law of faith are two extremes, therefore, much controversy: either God is hyper-sovereign or you abuse faith by believing in order to get God to move in your life you have to perform.

Getting & Trusting God for Our Finances

Must have right motive for giving- Proverbs 3:5; Proverbs 11:24.
Scattering produces more crop:holding more than you need eventually leads to poverty mindset
Proverbs 11:25, when you are a giver God gives to you.. money grows when you plant it (giving to others)
Liberal givers are made fat. When we meet the needs of others our own needs are met by God (watered and being watered).

Ephesian 2:4,13

Locked up in a room with the door wide open...sometimes we can't get what God have for us because of circumstances.
Christ broke down the wall; you can't go to the other side of the wall with the things of the world. Got to leave it behind.
The word comes to clean us
Dead Idols in our lives causes us to lose sight of the living God

Does God Understand?

Do you sometimes wonder if God really knows what it is like to be poor, rejected by people or sick with aches and pains. Perhaps you are asking, “Does God really understand what I am going through?"

My friend, Jesus was no stranger to emotional or physical pains, poverty or hardships. He was born into a poor family. He had a smelly manger for His birthplace. (Luke 2:7) From an early age, as a carpenter, He knew all about working hard with His hands, standing on His feet all day long and returning home with aches in His body.

How To Receive God's Blessing

Miracles are for crisis situations. You have to be in a crisis to receive a miracle. Blessings actually prevent crisis situation in our lives. When we disoby God's laws of giving we are always in a crisis and do not receive the full blessing. I would rather live in the blessing than rely on miracles. A crisis demands a miracle.
Every miracle Jesus performed was due to a crisis in the lives or life of the receiver.

You Can Do This!

The people of Joseph said to Joshua,"Why have you given us only one allotment and one portion for an inheritance? We are a numerous people and the Lord has blessed us abundantly." If you are so numerous,"Joshua answered, "and if the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you, go up into the forest  and clear land for yourselves there in the land of the Perizzites and Rephaites." The people of Joseph replied, "The hill country is not enough for us, and all the Canaanites who live in the plain have iron chariots, both those in Beth Shan and its settlements and those in the Valley of Jezreel." But Joshua said to the house of Joseph-to Ephraim and Manasseh-"You are numerous and very powerful. You will have not only one allotment but the forested hill country as well. Clear it,and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have iron chariots and though they are strong, you can drive them out."
