Just One Word from the Lord

When the devil tempted Jesus, Jesus turned the Word of God on him, saying, “It is written… It is written… It is written…” (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10)

Likewise, should the devil remind you of the pain in your body, say what God’s Word says: “It is written, ‘By His stripes I am healed!’” (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24) And tell Daddy God, “I have Your Word for it and I am standing on Your Word. I am not trying to be healed. My healing has already happened. I don’t care what this body says. It has to line up with Your Word because by Jesus’ stripes I am healed!”

And if the devil says to you, “Look at the meager balance in your bank account. How are you going to pay your bills?” just say, “I am not trying to be rich. I am already rich and I have God’s Word for it. It is written, ‘My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 4:19) It doesn’t matter how much I have in the bank. God’s Word tells me that as the need arises, the supply will be there!”

You can Trust God!

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Jeremiah 17: 7-8.

God inhabits the praises of His People

Manoah inqired of the angel of the Lord, "What is your name, so that we may honor you when your word comes true!" He replied, "Why do you as my name? It is beyond understanding." Then Manoah tok a young goat, together with the grain offering, and sacrificed it on a rock to the Lord. And the Lord did an amazing thing while Manoah and his wife watched: as the flame blazed up from the altar toward heaven, the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame. Seeing this, Manoah and his wife fell with their faces to the ground. When the angel of the Lord did not show himself again to Manoah and his wife, Manoah realized that it was the angel of the Lord! God inhabits the praises of His People! Judges 13: 17-21

God is a Giver, not a Taker!

As children of God, we know what the Father’s will is for us. He is a giver, not a taker! Jesus said, “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32) It is the devil who is the thief. He comes to steal, kill and destroy. But Jesus came to give us life more abundant. (John 10:10)

Jesus met every need and healed every sickness brought before Him, and at the cross, He gave His own life. Never once did He take anything away from the people who came to Him. And the Bible says that whoever has seen Jesus has seen the Father. (John 14:9)

Beloved, your heavenly Father wants you to know today that He is the one who gives you all good things. And if He has already given us heaven’s best — Jesus, “how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things”?

How do you see Jesus?

Jesus asked His disciples once, “But who do you say that I am?” How you answer this question depends on how you see Jesus. And how you see Jesus will determine how and what you receive from Him. So see Him as your God, as everything He claims to be in His Word, and He will do mighty works in your life.

Appetite for Christianity

When a people prays, there is the church, and where the church is; there is never loneliness.

Comment on Truth

Reading The Truth War by John MacArthur; noted how truth has been under attack since the encounter between Eve and the Devil. Even today if the minutest detail is added to distort the truth, it is no longer the truth. There is no middle ground.

Systems

They say, "be yourself." How does oneself evolve into being? What dynamics goes into becoming?, what systems move us into becoming yourself? Who or what influences our decisions? How much weight does family, education, jobs, community, government, and religion impact our decisions? If we consider a person a human being, then a person's own growth and development are compatible with social systems theory and thinking.
Can persons actually be social systems unto themselves? Some scientists have argued that it is not possible. However, other investigators argue that without the individual, there could be no society, and without society, there can be no individual. So does society send us system signals telling us where to attend higher education, what we can afford and not afford, our professional aspirations and community life? What is all this blabbering; well...it's an age old question that deals with "nature or nurture." Which contributes the most to who we are?

Creditors Are Coming

The creditors are coming for our children because we have wasted the precious oil of the anionting...let us fill our vessels with the oil of boldness and save our children!

Hard to Believe

Hard to believe that as Jesus is...so are we in this world. That is those who are born again, a new creature, led by the spirit of God. With the spirit of God in us we are just like Him...not our physical nature, but Our Spiritual nature...hard to believe!

Truth

The absence of the truth is a lie that keeps us bound!

Just Do It!

Willing vessels...you have something to do...don't waste time pondering over the right time to make that move.   Someone is  in trouble and they need you...Take off like speed lightning, there is room for one more willing vessel.

Timidity

God didn't give me (us) a spirit of fear...timidity get out of here...I take captive of your nagging whispering in my ear...timidity I don't hear a word you're shouting. Fear says STOP!..you're too....you're not....you can't because...what about.....?

REST

Resting in the Promises of God my Saviour!!!

Freely given; Freely receive

Don’t let the devil disqualify you by bringing you the law and saying, “How can you receive this blessing when just last night, you broke God’s law?” or “Are you sure you deserve this?” Instead, say, “Father, I thank You that I receive everything freely by Your grace, Your unmerited favor in my life, because of the blood of Jesus!”

The War is Over

God punished Jesus for what we had done. God isn't angry with us. He is not imputing our sins upon us! We tend to value sin more than we value he price Jesus paid. He paid beyond the penalty. Jesus died spiritually, emotionally and eventually physical.

Creativity

God didn't create the automobile, computer chip or computer software; but He created the people who did! God has graced each of us with gifts and talents; it is up to the individual to receive thi grace and build upon it...we give up before we complete the first draft!

Wisdom
